Wow. This has been my first week of blogging outside of music stuff. And, already, I’ve succumbed to academic, theoretical, crazy-talk stuff.
But it has been interesting and the thing I like most about blogging is the responses. The selfish reason – every few responses makes me think about things differently. So, thank you.
And, this post is all about responses: all I’m asking for is one sentence, one word, an image, a video.
Ever been in a meeting, a presentation, a conversation that feels like tens of others you’ve had before… but something’s different? Like, digital or search or social media or creative thinking or data or analytics has suddenly become critical?
The room feels a little paralysed. It fills with blank stares but it feels brighter than last week. Someone who would have referred to you as the “IT guy” a few years ago is now talking about his Facebook experience.
That’s paradigm breakage.
Sweet, isn’t it?
So, to close out a week of abstraction, I ask:
When a paradigm breaks, what sound does it make?
You have 10 seconds and one sentence.
