2009 is my year of being useful.
Actually, 2009 isn’t the first year and won’t be the last.
So, in pursuit of that aim, I’m doing something for free…
for you.
40 minutes on Twitter for free
A lot of people like you – or people you know – want to work out what Twitter is about and whether it’s for them. So, I’m putting together a 40 minute session on it – my perspective, not an academic analysis – and if you’d like me to come to your company or organisation and present it, talk through it, mime it… then I will. For free. Well, the miming may cost.
5 things you will take out of it
1. Why so many of us think it’s good
2. How to get started
3. How to find momentum and rhythm
4. How to let it impact your real life
5. Tools to enjoy it with
Simple.
Also, this is not a ‘how to do Twitter for business’ session. This is about YOU.
We can discuss the business angles though if you really really want to.
There’s ONE catch
The only catch is that if I do this for free then I’d like you to think about whether you can be useful back… not to me but to people in your area… and offer up your space, your place to other people near you to attend if they choose. This isn’t a requirement but would appreciate if you consider.
How to contact me
Email me at markboogie @ gmail.com (yes, remove the spaces – the spaces are there to beat the spam-o-bots). I’ll start them early April… if you want me to. The sessions may need to run before or after work but we can work that out as we go.
In the meantime… my 140-characters Tweet for people new to Twitter
If u r new to Twitter: unlock your profile, add pic, add bio, add link, add 10 interesting Tweets, add 50 people. won’t make sense otherwise
